If am planning to retire in one of the EU country do I invest in 401k/Roth IRA

Hi there,

I work and live in US but at the same time I am citizen in one of the European union country.

I am planing to retire in Europe or maybe even move there sooner before retiring.

Right now I am contributing to Roth IRA but I was wondering if taking money out of Roth IRA when I will be Europe will be problematic?

What strategy would you suggest?
I have emergency fund, maxing out Roth IRA and rest going to VOO.
