There's been a lot of optimism towards the market because of the suspension of certain tariffs towards China and how Trump is calling for a meeting with Xi.
There will be no meeting between Xi and Trump because Trump has shown the US cannot be trusted and he will use the meeting to humiliate foreign dignatories for the purpose of rallying voters at home.
Of course I can't get inside the head of the people still participating market to know which way the market will go. However I do not expect anything of substance and improvement of relations between China and the US within the next 3-4 years.
This means there are a lot of opportunities for people to invest in Chinese stocks so as long as Trump don't pressure the SEC to force a delisting for reasons.
