This old fart decided to get with the times and get the Chatgpt app a couple of days ago. I talked to some other seniors about it and now were all having fun with it.
Not sure if you've heard but Hedge Funds and some of the banks have gotten caught with their pants down and are having
major margin calls especially in the bond market.
Apparently, the Treasury is going to come in with a $2 trillion dollar bailout (Thoughtful Money) to help stabilize the treasury market. After hearing this through other sources, I decided to ask Chatgpt if I should wait to invest in 10 year Treasury Bills if it's going to rise to 5% then fall after the bailout? It first corrected me saying the 10 yr is a bond and said I could wait or buy now and that my bond would be worth more as rates fell (I knew that but wanted to varify. Chatgpt also said a good strategy would be to ladder averaging out yields over time (which Jenny Harrington also mentioned this week). Bottom line is Chatgpt is an interesting platform to bounce ideas off. GLTA
