My plan seems foolproof, which means it's wrong. Can you give me an opinion.

I just got into investing. So I'm planning to invest into 100 nvdia shares, and sell covered calls (rolling them before expiry so I don't get assigned) for pretty much forever.

I am doing the same with my 200 ford shares and I've been having success but minimal returns due to option price, so I'm thinking of scaling it upwards a bit.

I cannot find any error in this. In fact, I ran an absolutely apocalyptic scenario where the stock depreciates 50% along with usd (I use euros) and It can still recover from that in 5 years.

So what's the downside from simply issuing slightly OTM calls, rolling them and collecting premium? It would be a huge boost to my annual income.
