Discrepancy on Google Finance site wrt portfolios

Does this happen to others who keep a portfolio there? If I look at my portfolio for the past 6 months, it shows it's up 8%. If I add a comparison like the S&P, it shows that my portfolio is down 2.4%. I get similar discrepancies regardless of the timeframe as soon as I add a comparator
