Looking at GOP and Right Wing Commentary, the Arrogance and the Ignorance is Staggering

Just watching comments from the Administration and comments from supporters. People believe that China’s economic output is something like 90% US exports when it’s closer to 3%. They seem to believe we can bring allies to the table and negotiate new trade agreements bilaterally with all of them in a matter of weeks. That the US can take on every other economy with few repercussions and little to no inflation.

I was hoping sanity would prevail and Congress would step in if Trump didn’t change course quickly once people figured out what’s going on, but based on what I’m seeing it’s going to take a year or more, when the pain has thoroughly set in and most of the damage is irreversible, before people really start to turn on this Administration.

Seriously considering increasing my cash position for the next 1-2 years, at least.
