I am an experienced and risk tolerant high nw investor with a long term view. Last week I had roughly $1m of APPL stock. This week I have a lot less! It’s my largest single position at around 10% of my portfolio down from more like 20% before these last few trading days. I’m still in the green but barely, as this position is only a couple years old.
I am confident t APPL will recoup all time highs and continue the uptrend , but that will take some time and other investment options may recover much faster and more significantly in the meantime.
I have absorbed the last 4 painful days. I am nearly fully invested right now with little cash on hand.
In my shoes would you:
A: Ride it out and stick with APPL long term.
B: Sell some/all of the position and buy VTI
C: Trim the Apple position and spread it out into other investments in companies such as Amazon, Google, Chevron.
