My wife's 401k has lost $12,000+ since the trade wars started. This may not seem a lot, but we are not wealthy and about 5-10 years away from retirement. Should we trust the 401k management to make the right moves? Do they actively manage anything? When the market does turn around, will we most likely regain our losses?
