For anyone who’s bought a large amount into VOO within the last 12 months, how many are selling right now to lock in a loss for capital gains tax advantages. As well as then purchase SPY for added games when it rises?
I have some other capital gains that I will make this year that I’ll be able to off set by leveraging the downturn. Purchasing SPY allows me to avoid the wash sale rule. I’m interested to hear all of your thoughts.
