\- Buying shares of Canadian broad market ETFs (EWC or XIC)

\- Calls or long on Canadian companies that were expected to be hit by the tariffs (Magna, Canada Metals Inc, Nutrien)

\- I'm still gonna short tourism/hospitality companies since consumer vs. business is different

**Doing this because it was reported 2 hours ago that there's enough Republicans that have crossed the floor to work with Dems on a tariff removal resolution (just for Canada, not for the Liberation Day international tariffs)**

\- Democrat Senator Tim Kaine has launched a resolution in the US senate to reverse tariffs on Canadian imports to the US. It's co-sponsored by Senators Amy Klobuchar (Democrat) and Rand Paul (Republican).

\- To pass all Democrat senators need to support it, with support from 4 Republican senators. Mitch McConnell, Lisa Murkowski, and Susan Collins have voiced concerns with tariffs and are expected to support the resolution which would help it pass. Decision was expected either yesterday or today.

\- Trump posted on Truth Social at 12:58AM today calling these four senators unloyal to the party
