Suggestion on investment for small period of time

Hello guys.

I am going to receive a good chunk of money from sale of an asset.. I have it for few month's before i invest it for my home. I have around 3-6months..depending on the final payment call of the builder. Any suggestions where should i keep?

Someone from family suggested idfc bank 7% Saving's bank interest.. Is it good.?

Any other better investment options for a good return and liquidity availability
