Does Trump look at tariffs like his “Trump” naming marketing deals? He gets money for nothing while everyone else pays more?

Trumps entire business is built on marketing deals where he lends out his name and makes money basically doing nothing. Seems to me his tariff idea is very close to that. His whims raise prices for everyone but he does nothing and rakes in tariff proceeds. Why doesn’t he see all of the unintended consequences that are unfolding?
