Hey everyone, I’m looking for a way to automate investing into my Roth IRA on Schwab . From what I’ve seen, it looks like Schwab only allows automatic investments with mutual funds, but I’d prefer to invest in ETFs or index funds instead.
I'm not married to schwab if there is a better platform that I am just missing, but I can't seem to find any information on this.
Is there a way to set this up for ETFs/index funds, or am I stuck with mutual funds if I want to automate contributions? Also, I’m not entirely sure what the key differences are between mutual funds and ETFs beyond fees and trading flexibility—are there any downsides to using mutual funds for this? My main goal is to automate my investments without paying unnecessary fees.
Would appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance.
