Total novis over here... I'm sure these post gets frustrating but hear me out...
Prior investments are in my current [blue chip] company, (that pay a bonus in stock), cruise ships since COVID, and I took a total piss in the wind based on a few reddit posts, news stories, the company newsletter/investor call and a hunch on Russian sanctctions back in 2021 for a palladium mine in Canada. I lost my ass on the mine lol.
I made a thinkorswim account for paper money and I'm just going to get wild with it. See how it goes.
My question is how do you guys invest based on your findings... Is it all within your industry that you work in? Do you stay glued to the TV and make assumptions and educated guesses based on your own knowledge? How do you research a new company?
