Just sold an inherited property for 2 million. Planning on buying a house in cash for 800k\~ (Good old CA). Looking for ideas on investing the rest. I work as a teacher making 70k and currently have 14k in CalStrs.
Definetely considering VOO. We held it in the past (also inherited) and it always performed well.
HSA sounds great, but I'm nervous about holding more than 100k in there because of the turbulent times we live in. Would rather have the money diversified/working for us
Debts will be covered with about 60k\~.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering putting some money in Bitcoin.
After we fix our credit, would consider getting a loan for a rental property.
Is my plan sounding alright? Open to more suggestions, and thank you.
