I sold most US stocks mid-November after the election bump, the rest mid-February just before the crash.
People asked “Don’t you know the market almost always goes up?” This is a bit like saying “Big wars never happen anymore!” in 1913.
Past prediction is a terrible predictor when conditions dramatically change. I’m invested in Chinese tech (only big US competitor now that no one trusts US companies), international ETFs, and gold.
Buy the dip once the US equity premium has been completely destroyed to catch up to reality, or Trump is removed. Markets still think this is just Trump 1.0. They are in for a hammering.
