Investing in real estate (commercial, multifamily, STR etc) beats stock market investments IF you got a good deal, have cash flow, and an understanding of banking and taxes.
If those are true, times like these aren’t an issue. My tenants are paying me every month and my $2M in RE is an incredible inflation hedge. The hard things about real estate are timing (the ups and downs are more pronounced) but once you develop enough leverage and gain equity, the overall risk of your portfolio goes down and your ROI goes up.
