Should I invest now or wait a year or so until we get a clearer understanding of the direction of the market?

Hello everyone, I am in my early twenties and got myself some 10k out of a mildly successful business venture.

My question is, should I invest in the stock market (I was thinking something like spy, Nasdaq biotech, standard ETFs) or should I wait and leave it all in a savings account with some 8% annual interest and save a bit more? I am mainly worried about the current volatility.
