Tbh, this is an interesting proposal. However, the same issue persists- users would need to take action to secure their ownership in the next 5 years. But at least in this case, it could "feel" like they weren't frozen out, even though the same premise exists... Inaction results in frozen coins so that quantum computers simply don't take them. I think the risk to the protocol so that Satoshi can simultaneously "own" his coins (that he seemingly will never use) …
