Building a Greek P&L attribution system for options portfolio

Hello everyone, I'm running a theta harvesting strategy on SPX/XSP and I've built a Python-based analytics platform connected to IBKR via TWS API that snapshots spot, IV per leg, time, and all Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega) for every leg, every minute. Current approach is per-leg Taylor approximation (delta/gamma/theta/vega buckets). …

Can’t close it, no liquidity, wide bid/ask, can’t get a fill. Stock is at $21.76 so both legs are deep ITM, expires 18 Jun. Do I just hold to expiry and let Robinhood settle it at max value ($0.50)? Does it happen automatically or do I need to do something?

Data Service for non-0DTE SPX

I’m beginning to see the potential usefulness of GEX, put walls, call walls, gamma flip. There’s a ton of services and a ton of threads about them, but I’m looking for opinions about their usefulness for somebody who primarily trades SPX and mostly 3-10 DTE. Since 60% or more of …

Covered Short Strangles under cost basis anyone ? Alternative to stock repair strategy ?

About 4 months ago, I got absolutely hammered on HOOD and RDDT, getting assigned at roughly 34% in-the-money. Instead of just sitting on dead money or selling boring, pennies-on-the-dollar calls at my original cost basis, I decided to play it aggressively. I’ve been consistently trading \*\*covered short strangles \*under\* my …
