Nvidia market cap looks kinda crazy maybe suppliers worth a look
Nvidia passed 1 trillion market cap, everyone chasing AI story. i get it, gpu demand is huge, but from a value perspective maybe the suppliers have more reasonable entry. Like with apple years ago, a lot of suppliers (foxconn, tsmc, luxshare etc) did well along the iphone cycle, sometimes with …
Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund (UTF) Announces Terms of Transferable Rights Offering
Any thoughts? I have 125 shares of UTF and have the opportunity to avail of the rights offering of 1 share for every 5 I own. The purchase price is based upon a formula equal to 95% of the average of the last reported sales price of a share of …
Is my intuition of what happened to bond yields and interest rates around 2008 correct?
**Lower market interest rates = higher demand for bonds = higher bond prices = lower yields** **Higher market interest rates = lower demand for bonds = lower bond prices = higher yields** This figure from HKT Consultants (2021) shows a decline of bond yields after \~around 2008. Because yields dropped, …
Better of the two? 3.75% HYSA or CMA fidelity
Wealthfronts APY has decreased from 4% to 3.75% which made me wonder if i should transfer my savings/spending account. I have most of my investments (401k, ROTH, HSA) already in fidelity and was wondering if it’d make most sense and just move the money into a CMA account? Also , …
401k - Fully SP500, move 30% to Bonds
So right now I have a 401k that puts 100% contribution into Fidelity SP500. I can do exchanges, im very tempted to move 40-30% into a bond fund. I am slightly worried about a market crash, wall street seems to be doing great, but everything I've seen personally says main …
2026 investment plan questions
So I’m starting to think about how I want to position my portfolio for next year. I think a gold etf would be good as I expect some volatility. I think JPM would be a good bet. An energy company (prolly OKLO). What are you all thinking of? Any suggestions?
Why do you think alphabet insiders are selling?
According to nasdaq.com in the last 3 months 37410 shares were bought and 307631 shares were sold by alphabet insiders. Shouldn't they know about the upside potential at least in the past 3 months? Do you think they know something that we dont know that can drop the stock price?

So here's a bit of interesting trivia, for anyone over 60.....
I'm going through my mother's old Merrill Lynch statements from the 80s and one of her holdings is listed as "CORP INC FND106 MPS", which I presume was some kind of ML unit trust. It was priced monthly, so presumably marketable. It had a 10-12% yield, which was fairly typical …
Quality investing data site?
This is a pretty pedestrian question though I've been investing for about four decades so I'm embarrassed to ask. But I'm quite frustrated and haven't found an adequate solution myself. I've used Yahoo finance for years, but it's just getting too buggy. (What's with these crazy graphs that show micro …
