Why stock market keeps making record highs in spite of Govt shutdown?
This is quite puzzling. Everyday Govt is shutdown, it reduces GDP. They are talks about mass layoffs of federal workers again. This is on top of 100,000 who already got laid off. Who is going to buy all the junk these companies are producing? Yet their stocks keep going up?
