Stocks tax question
Hoping someone can help me understand this better. Say I purchase a stock, own it for some period of time, sell it, and use that money again to purchase different shares of a different stock. I may decide to do this different times to diversify the money across different companies. …
Puts on TSLA?
With all these protests going on, people will be less inclined to buy Teslas. Is there any food to this thought?
Backtested leveraged ETF strategy suggested by reddit user. Beaten S&P500 over 24 years period by approx 30%, still a lot of margin for optimization. I'd like to hear your opinion.
Hello, I posted this also on r/Daytrading . As the title says I have backtested a strategy proposed by a reddit user that has recently removed the post, the title was: "I'm a professional trader with average annualised returns of over 70% across the last decade, and this is my …
Apple vs Meta for short term (3-4 months)
Hey everyone, I’m new to all of this and I have a little bit of money that I hold dear and close. I am wondering whether Apple or Meta would be the better option for now-August. I read that Apple usually does better August-February, then META is also a “strong …

Does it make sense to invest in Coinbase/Robinhood if you already have a sizable crypto investment?
The title says it all. IMO Coin/Robinhood = the retail crypto market. So If you are already heavily invested in the crypto says, it seems to me that you'd be better off diversifying in another industry. Namely, because even if you believe it's a growing space, it is cyclical.
Covered calls exercised on a a LEAP
I am wondering, if I have a LEAP with covered calls sold on that position. And those calls get exercised, my understanding is, I have to exercise the leap and sell the person the stocks at the agreed strike price. My question is, do I need to exercise my leaps …
TSMC May Acquire 20% Stake in Intel's Spin-Off, Qualcomm and Broadcom to Invest
TSMC is considering acquiring a 20% stake in an Intel spin-off, with Qualcomm and Broadcom also interested in investing. The deal is in early discussions and could face U.S. government scrutiny due to national security concerns. Intel has struggled in advanced chip manufacturing, making it a potential acquisition target. https://stockwhiz.ai/us/news/technology/tsmc-may-acquire-20-stake-in-intels-spin-off-qualcomm-and-broadcom-to-invest/1716
NVDA upcoming earnings miss?
Not sure if this will impact earnings or just guidance, but if it's bad enough it could mean a dip in NVDA or a good excuse for a sector/market selloff: https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/rtx-5090-supplies-to-be-stupidly-high-next-month-as-gb200-wafers-get-repurposed-asserts-leaker "demand for data center GB200 chips fell short of Nvidia's projections. Subsequently, excess yields from TSMC are allegedly being …
