I often see stocks jumping post earning. They will either A) maintain the momentum and continue climbing, or b) retrace all the way back down.
Is there a method to predict it will go route A or B? Does pre-market price movement give any indication? Bid and ask volume?
I need to know this because i often close my call position prematurely, turning gains to small loss. Any advice?
