You have $300K in shares, the result of your hard work. Then, one day, it drops to $250K. You think, 'Well, it's a normal dip,' and you keep contributing.
A year later, it's at $200K. You add another $3K, only to see it drop to $195K the next day.
Another year passes. You've contributed multiple times, but now you have $180K. You tell yourself, 'Every crisis ends,' but another year goes by, and now you’re down to $150K.
Then, your shares recover to $200K. 'Now it's better, right? Didn't I say so? To the moon!'
But a year later, after more contributions, it's at $120K.
It keeps falling—$80K. 'The world is ending! There's never been a crisis like this! 1929 is here! The international financial system is collapsing!'
**CAN YOU REALLY HANDLE IT???**
I don’t think so. I think you’ll sell everything at $80K—only to realize, two years later, that you could have had $600K in shares.
Be honest with yourself. Think about it. **Can you really handle it?**
Most people here won’t.
So, **allocate less** to stocks, **study more**, **STOP LOOKING AT QUOTATIONS**, and stop panicking over every drop. If you can’t control your emotions, you won’t make it.
This will happen once, twice, maybe three times in your journey—don’t fool yourself.
