Will all of these white collar layoffs eventually trickle down to blue collar/retail/hospitality/restaurant layoffs?

Is it not only a matter of time before white collar professionals cut spending enough to where it will start affecting blue collar/retail/hospitality/restaurant workers? From DIYing your lawn care instead of hiring someone. No longer buying stuff you don't need in retail stores. No longer traveling or no longer spending $200 at a restaurant for your family. Companies like Target are already posting weaker than expected guidance for 2025.

How much longer do you think before all these layoffs impact everyone else? Almost 60% of the US workforce holds 'white collar' professions. That's quite a lot, and many of those sectors are going through severe layoffs and hiring freezes right now.
