Why are stocks rallying a day after tariffs caused them to tank? What changed?

A few hours ago I saw that all the indexes were still dropping pretty far after yesterdays tariff news came out, but I just checked again and they are all up a lot now. Did something else happen to cause them to rally, or is it just traders buying low?

Edit: Never mind! Lesson learned, I should have waited until the markets closed before asking.
