I only had 1k to play with and last week I lost 803 on puts on spy.From there I was able to turn 200 into 500 till yesterday. At opening yeseterday I bought 10 calls on soxs and made 165 before selling. I missed out on 200. Then I bought more call at noon. I was down 50 at close. This morning I was still down 50, but then I bought 10 calls on the dip again. So 10 for 17.00 an 10 for 17.50 strike. Once I got my money back I sold for a win of 8.00. By the end of the day those twenty calls where worth 1200 and 1600. I also had a ITM sqqq call I sold when i broje even. That went to 349.00. Total unrealized loss 3000.00. I keep doing this to myslef and don't know why. Sorry just venting because that money would of short term life changing. How do I trade without paperhanding. Do i let every call and put go to expiration no matter what. Not sure what to do. In December I had puts on apple, 20 ITM sqqq, and 5 ITM TSLQ. I was in for 1500 but down 800. When the market dumped I sold break even. But if I had held I would if made close to 8k at closing. HELP.....
