On Google Finance, when comparing price of two stocks over time, they both start at 0% and go up or down from there. Makes sense; at the start, they've both changed 0% since the start. But if you're doing the one-day view you see them start the day a few percent away from 0% and then go up or down. Why?
On the 1D graph, what is the baseline? i.e., what does 0% mean?
