Noob investor here, made a good amount of money last year, but then started taking increasingly amounts of risks and right now, my portfolio is wayyyyy down. Need to pay taxes on my gains last year but due to my stupid gambling, my portfolio is down BIG and I don't want to sell right now. Can I defer paying taxes on last year's stocks somehow? Yes, I am a dumbass and once I get myself out of this jam, it's VOO and chill forever.
