I’m 21 years old and have been investing passively for around 3 years now. I’ve recently become interested in getting more involved in the stock market, particularly through swing trading.
I’m pretty much a complete beginner when it comes to active trading, and I’m not entirely sure where to start. I’m not looking to get rich overnight, but I’d like to develop the knowledge and skills to potentially make some extra income from trading over time.
I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have experience with swing trading.
**Where would you recommend a complete beginner start?**
Are there any YouTube channels, books, courses, or traders worth following to learn the basics?
How did you personally get started, and what mistakes should beginners avoid?
Is swing trading realistically something that can be done part-time alongside a full-time job?
I’m happy to put in the time and effort to learn properly before risking any significant money.
