Hey guys,
I want to share a free tool I made for researching Swiss stocks.
I know that recently with all the vibe-coded tools, self-promotion has been a sensitive topic here, so just to be clear and respectful of the sub rules: the tool is completely free and does not require an account at any point. I’m mainly posting because I’d like feedback from people who actually research individual stocks, as I might eventually extend the idea to other less-covered markets. A user recently shared a similar tool for US stocks, so I am going to use a similar post structure as I saw that was fine with mods.
You can try it here: [www.hexaspex.com](http://www.hexaspex.com/)
**What is it**
HexaSpex produces a structured research report on Swiss-listed companies using six areas:
Moat, Growth, Financial Safety, Management, Efficiency and Valuation.
The report includes Swiss equity-specific information that most other tools ignore, like insider transactions, local reporting quirks, company-specific disclosures, and WACC considerations.
Since many people will not be familiar with Swiss stocks and understanding what a company does is the first step, every report also has a crayon-style drawing at the top that tries to explain what the company actually does in the simplest possible way.
I understand that valuation is very subjective, so the valuation part is interactive and you can input your own assumptions to calculate fair value.
Stocks that have already been requested are saved for a while and can be viewed immediately. New report generation can take up to 10 minutes as there is quite some research involved.
**Why Swiss stocks?**
I really like Swiss companies. They tend to have strong balance sheets, solid businesses, reasonable valuations and relatively low exposure to market hype. There are great local companies making hearing aids, diary, industrial equipment, etc.
I had some good picks, and there are still a lot of interesting Swiss companies, especially small and mid caps that rarely get discussed on Reddit or covered properly by the larger international platforms.
**Why not using Fiscal AI / Claude / ChatGPT?**
I use those myself, and they are great for research. But you need to give them the right context, sources, and instructions for depth, and they might still miss important stuff specifically on Swiss stocks.
The implementation is basically just an AI workflow with a custom financial research framework behind, Swiss equity-specific context, structured financial data and specific source documents behind it.
My goal is not to build some magical stock-picking AI, but to make the initial research process faster and more consistent.
It also doesn’t give any buy or sell recommendations. It just helps people understand what the market is pricing in, and take their own decisions accordingly.
I’d mainly be interested in feedback on:
* Is the report actually useful for understanding a company?
* Is there anything important missing?
* Which sections feel strong and which feel too generic?
* Would this format also be useful for other less-covered markets? Which ones?
