I've been following this sub and other investing communities for years. In parallel, we've been building and running our own systematic GARP strategy. We've done extensive backtesting and have also been running the strategy live for almost three years now, with encouraging results versus the S&P 500.
We recently rebuilt MOATEY, our platform for systematic fundamental investing. It analyzes 30,000+ stocks across fundamentals, growth, valuation, financial health, management, moat and risk.
I completely understand that the first reaction might be: another stock score/rating.
But we're not trying to compete on having more data. There's already plenty of that. We compete on the verdict: turning that data into a consistent fundamental assessment. The same philosophy and ratings are then systematically applied in our model portfolios, so the research and portfolio strategy are aligned.
We've extensively backtested the methodology, while our live track record is now approaching three years. Our philosophy isn't really about what happens next quarter or even next year. We're building this with a 20+ year investment horizon in mind.
I'm looking for a small group of long-term fundamental/value/GARP investors to beta test the revamped platform. You'll get full access, including the model portfolios. In return, I'm mainly looking for honest feedback on what works, what doesn't, what you don't trust and what's missing.
