First it took forever to figure out how to get my cash off of [crypto.com](http://crypto.com) because it wasn't accepting bank accounts. Had to add my middle name on my bank for it be accepted by crypto. Haven't had to do that anywhere else (coinbase, etc). I ordered the card because I thought that was the only way to get my money off of this app. I followed the instructions on their website to no avail. I'm so glad I only put 10 dollars on it (minus the 4.99 activation fee, ugh). AI customer servce AI is no help. Just a horrible experience.
Edit: The virtual option doesn't work either!
I tried using the virtual option of the card, because that doesn't require activation (which they don't let you do), and even the virtual option doesn't work. I went through their site to amazon, found an item, saved it to cart, proceeded to checkout, clicked on the "one time card" option at the bottom and It's saying I have an insufficient balance, even though the item on amazon costs 4.42 ( I have a balance of 5 dollars on the prepaid card). I tried to buy an item for 1.10 dollars and that didn't work either. It's saying I need to buy CRO first, but I can't use their debit card to do it. You simply can't use the card. What a fucking scam. I also had to login to amazon and used the saved password option, which Crypto com was likely able to see. Probably going to regret that later.
I'm just going to cancel the card and report them to all the regulatory agencies I can. It's Probably not going to do anything, but I'm completely done with this shit "company."
It's a VISA card. I'll report them there first.
