Looking for people's take on how the Mid-terms may/may not affect market dynamics. Im looking for cogent takes, not partisan hackery please. Tell me what you guys see and how you think it will affect markets and specifically Value investors.
My opinion: I think democrats winning a House Majority and more unlikely, a Senate would actually put a gigantic pause on AI investment. Regulatory encroachment would be the discussion among large investors. I also think there would be more congressional oversight of so far unchecked fraud in multiple arenas.(prediction markets, private equity, crypto, etc) I have more thoughts, but i wanted to get other people's takes, give me your best or most unique perspective please.
