All it took was a little bit of exposure and a little bit of explaining, and if you will understand the story of CLGN you might be buying too.
If you try searching for CLGN or ask your AI about it, you’ll find it used to be a (failing) biotech, but that has nothing to do with the ticker today.
What’s really trading under the CLGN ticker, and what buyers are investing in, is a company called LightSolver and their LPU (Laser Processing Unit).
The LPU is the future of computing, it’s the next generation in line with NVIDIA’s GPU, giving it Quantum like abilities.
The LPU uses lasers (light) to compute, being able to solve more complex problems, way faster, with less energy, at room temperature, better than anything applicable today.
The LPU is validated by the institutional clients already using it, most notably The Boeing Company, but the use cases are many including Banking, AI and more.
So what happened yesterday? LightSolver hosted an investor webinar, the first time the previously private company (until a few trading days ago) publicly addressed investors.
They explained not only about the company and the LPU, but most importantly about the fact they are indeed now public and trading under CLGN.
The PR announced CLGN “acquired” LightSolver, but really it’s LightSolver that is going public using CLGN.
The stock had a nice run yesterday for the simple reason that “the word got out” about LightSolver being public, people realizing they could invest in the LPU by buying CLGN stock rushed to market.
But is the word really out? Or did some investors just find the webinar and pick up on this before everyone else? I think the latter. Soon enough the name of the company listed under the ticker will probably change to LightSolver, and even the ticker itself will probably change. And once everything is established LightSolver will probably be announcing everything they have going on, because there’s a reason they decided now is the time to take this opportunity and become public.
And that opportunity created a rare opportunity for us, buying a low float, low market cap, priced like a failing bio company stock, and getting a piece of the most cutting edge technology, the future of computing, in one of the hottest markets.
NFA and DYOR, but I’m building a very significant long position before everyone else finds out and understands and the market starts pricing this stock for what it really is.
