**When it clicked for me**
I was watching some ImanTrading video on YouTube. Basically, he said anybody with a working strategy would never tell you their strategy and that the only way to become profitable is to develop your own strategy that works for you. So thats what i did.
I know that may seem obvious or just not what most of you wanted to hear but that has genuinely changed everything for me. The moment I stopped listening to youTubers/gurus and just made my own thing is when I started profiting.
**Advice**
My best advice is to not waste time watching/listening to anyone on the internet (except maybe ImanTrading). Instead, focus on testing and developing your own proprietary system. Also keep your account as small as possible during development as losses are inevitable during this stage.
Theorize -> back test -> live test -> repeat until profitable
