SX is now at 2 cents, is it about to rebound with gold and recycling?

SXOOF is well known in the penny community but just in case you haven’t heard of them, a little history.
About 5 years ago, Paul Pelosi Jr became an advisor for the company and the news raised the share price up over a dollar. Since then, it’s been a slow steady decline to two cents and while PPjr is no longer involved, a lot has happened behind the scenes.
Today, SX a diversified technology and resource company with its primary near-term focus on EVSX, its wholly owned battery processing subsidiary.
EVSX operates a permitted, multi-chemistry battery recycling line in Thorold, Ontario, designed for roughly 10,000 tonnes per year. The facility recovers critical battery metals, aluminum, steel, copper and other materials with high efficiency and routes them back into the supply chain rather than landfill. It sits in a key collection hub near North America’s largest automotive cluster (Ford, GM, Stellantis) and holds supply agreements, including with Call2Recycle. Recent upgrades have expanded throughput capacity, and a joint venture with Voltrinov supports evaluation and processing of end-of-life EV and micromobility batteries.
The recent plant upgrades seem to have stalled operations because they ended up running into financial trouble before they even started.
On September 10, 2026, EVSX reached a settlement with its debenture holders that resolved outstanding receivership proceedings. The agreed debt of approximately $484,463 is being repaid on a defined schedule (initial payments in September followed by bi-weekly instalments). With the petition suspended, the path is clearing for EVSX to stabilize operations and move toward full commercial processing announcements.
With no other revenue generating subsidiaries, the only way they can pay back these debenture holders is if they actually produce revenue from EVSX. The debenture holders likely wouldn’t agree to this arrangement if they didn’t feel EVSX was finally ready to go. If they are recycling 10k tons worth of batteries they can pay off this debt in about 2 months.
Beyond battery recycling, St-Georges retains Iceland rights through its subsidiary Iceland Resources. In April–May 2026 it entered an option agreement with Aurania Resources under which Aurania can earn up to a 70% interest in the Thormodsdalur (Thor’s Valley) high-grade epithermal gold project by funding exploration. Aurania is currently drilling (six holes planned, \~770 m) with a Finnish contractor. Historical intercepts include high-grade gold results. Aurania posted a Twitter/X update today (September 22, 2026) featuring a CEO-narrated 3D video fly-through of former drill holes at the project, confirming active work on site and a lot of excitement about what the incoming results will bring.
Together, the near-term operational reset at EVSX and the funded advancement of the Iceland gold asset provide two distinct catalysts within a broader portfolio that also includes metallurgical IP and Québec critical-mineral projects.
