Hey everyone, I've been getting into swing trading lately (just the stock market in general new to this stuff), and I had a question: Is fundamental analysis really necessary as a retail swing trader, or can you just get away with volume, technical analysis, and price action? To my knowledge, financials are pretty much priced in instantly by institutional traders. I've also heard about post earnings announcement drift but Im not really too sure what it does. Ive asked AI and it told me that it doesn't matter as much as a retail swing trader, but I wanted human opinion from a real trader because i know llms hallucinate alot. Thanks everyone, feel free to fry me if you think my question is stupid
