AMD just crossed a $1T market cap, and most of the semis sector has rallied hard over the past few days on the same momentum. AVGO has gone nowhere since its last earnings report.
Among my AI related holdings, it's easily the worst performer. I'm still holding 90 shares at a $330 cost basis and plan to sit on them for the next 5 years, but I'd like to pressure test that thesis.
Is the post earnings weakness a guidance or margin problem, or just rotation into other names?
Does the custom silicon and networking story still justify holding while peers re rate?
Anyone else holding through this, or did you rotate out?
