I found a number of stock certificates at a family members home. I am his POA and this was a surprise to say the least. I located 5 different certs and each had a different amount of shares. The most recent cert was issued 3 weeks before a company 3-1 split. The shares were being managed by Compushare and dividends were re-invested into new none cert shares. The certs are over 30yrs old. I proceeded to transfer these to his regular brokerage firm, which I also have an account. I thought I would get the 3-1 split once everything was deposited and verified. How does one determine if the splits where ever applied. Thx
