Anyone here dabble in SPAC stock? Pre-DA or post-merger… Commons or Warrants?
Found some pretty wild SPAC warrant comparisons from documented early early levels:
CCXIW \~$0.60 → \~$5.50 (+800%+)
RGTIW \~$0.09 → \~$5.75 (+6,000%+)
HQWWW / DMYYW \~$0.94 pre-deal → \~$8.30 (+780%+)
INFQ.WS / CCCXW \~$0.50 → \~$6.30 (+1,100%+)
ASTS, Rocket Lab, and Draftkings did quite well too as former-SPACs… Though plenty went bankrupt!
Obviously these are some of the big success stories. Plenty of SPAC warrants go the other way and can end up near zero.
For example, I found Tom Lee’s pre-DA spac interesting: FCRS and FCRS/WS (for the warrants)… Seems like it could be high-profile, as he’s often on CNBC. So is the extra upside really worth the warrant risk? Or just stick with commons?
Thoughts from those who invest in these sort of companies? Thanks!
