Anadarko Agreed to Settle $114.5M With Investors over Shenandoah Oil Field Claims
Hey guys, if you missed it, Anadarko just agreed to settle $114.5 million with investors over claims related to its Shenandoah oil field. The settlement terms have already been submitted to the court for approval.
In a nutshell, investors accused Anadarko of overstating the value and potential of its Shenandoah assets and appraisal wells while failing to disclose important information about the project.
In 2017, Anadarko disclosed a $467 million impairment charge and another $435 million in suspended exploratory well costs related to Shenandoah. The stock dropped about 8% the following day, and investors later filed a lawsuit over their losses.
The company has now agreed to settle the claims for $114.5 million, subject to court approval. If you invested in $APC during that time, you can check the details and file your claim [here](https://11th.com/cases/anadarkopetroleumcorporation-investor-settlement).
Anyway, did anyone here invest in $APC back then? How much were your losses, if so?
