Triple One Metals CSE: $TONE.CN OTC: TPONF sits between two active Pirate Gold discoveries in central Newfoundland.

Its 100%-owned Caledonia Brook property lies along the Crippleback–Moosehead trend, between Pirate Gold’s Moby Dick copper-gold discovery to the southwest and the high-grade Moosehead gold system to the northeast. Management has described that ground, between the two structures, as the priority target. Pirate Gold’s recent results are what brought the corridor back into focus.

Pirate Gold (TSXV: $YARR) has now shown what a larger neighbour is prepared to spend on that setting. It has engaged Canaccord Genuity to lead a best-efforts brokered flow-through private placement for gross proceeds of up to $15 million, with an agents’ option for up to an additional $2.25 million. Flow-through shares are priced at $0.215 and special flow-through shares at $0.2475. Proceeds are earmarked for eligible exploration on the Treasure Island Project, with the stated aim of keeping drilling active into spring 2027 while preserving a treasury of about $8 million. Three rigs are currently turning at Moby Dick and Moosehead. YARR’s market capitalization is approximately $94 million.

TONE is the smaller issuer on the ground in between: same structural corridor, a fraction of the treasury.
