NU vs MELI at current levels: Which Latin American growth engine offers a better risk-reward right now?

Hey everyone,
I’m looking to expand my exposure to Latin America's tech and financial growth story, and I’m torn between two popular picks: Nu Holdings ($NU) and MercadoLibre ($MELI). Both companies have proven execution records, massive addressable markets, and strong secular tailwinds across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. However, given their different business models and current valuations, I’d love to hear how people are weighing them at current price levels.

Valuation vs. Quality: Does $NU’s lower P/E multiple offer a safer margin of safety, or does $MELI’s e-commerce moat justify its valuation premium?

Execution Risk: Which management team do you trust more to navigate inflation and credit cycles in Brazil and Mexico over a 3- to 5-year horizon?

If you were putting new capital to work today, would you favor a pure-play digital banking model ($NU) or the diversified e-commerce/fintech ecosystem ($MELI)?
Looking forward to reading your thoughts and seeing where you stand!
