Long-only spot swing traders: How are you managing entries when market structure breaks below key EMAs?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a discussion with fellow long-only, spot swing traders (no leverage, no shorting).

Lately, it feels like market conditions are getting increasingly tricky for our specific strategy. Broadly speaking, a lot of assets are trading well below key EMAs (like the 20 and 50 EMAs), which makes classic support-level entries far less reliable. Bounces tend to get sold off quickly, turning horizontal support levels into resistance and leading to frequent fake-outs.

Without the option to short or use leverage to hedge, timing long entries in a corrective environment requires extreme patience.

How are you guys adapting your system right now?

Are you tightening your profit targets and taking smaller, faster wins?

Sitting in cash on the sidelines until price reclaims key moving averages?

Waiting strictly for bullish divergence signals before taking an entry?

Would love to hear how you're navigating this environment or any tactical ideas you've found helpful recently!

Excuse my English, it's not my native language.
