I keep seeing new tokens pop up and honestly it's tough to tell which ones are worth looking into vs which ones are gonna rug in a few weeks.
What's your actual process when you hear about something new?
* Where do you even start, Twitter, CoinGecko, Telegram, somewhere else?
* What's the first thing that makes you close the tab, team being anon, weird tokenomics, no liquidity?
* Do contract audits actually mean much or are they kind of a checkbox thing at this point?
* How much do you trust hype/community size vs actually digging into fundamentals?
* Any specific tools or sites you always check?
I usually just look at the about section on CoinMarketCap but I'm never sure how current that info actually is. Trying to build a better checklist so I'm not just going off vibes and hype threads.
