Hi,
I fear this post will definitely get some hate, but I followed this sub for a while and a bit over a year ago bought my first 7 individual stocks. Before that I only bought ETFs.
The way I pick stocks is usually just broadly looking at decent companies (that people mention here as 'valuable'), where the price is currently is low not due to fundamentals being off, but due to hype (or lack there-off) and so far that has worked really well.
It seems in the last years, most of the stock market has operated very irrationally with large swings.
e.g. the initial 7 went up over 50% in a bit over a year. The last stock I sold was Unity (at +70%) after buying at the insane crash in Feb due to some Google AI model release (that of course doesn't kill Unity in one go). The last I purchased was Xiaomi, when it was really low in July.
Curious if anyone could recommend some more "deals" like that.
