Does anyone make calls and puts at the same strike price to ensure that either way the market/stock swings they make at least some money? I've been playing around with this on the watchlist on Robinhood and it seems to be an okay strategy given the stock swings hard enough. An example was yesterday with SPY where one contract was 98 put at 130 something call. If I had actually purchased both contracts I could have made roughly 80 dollars at one point. I know it's peanuts to most here for such a large risk, but just curious on if anyone uses that strategy to make a little at a time without losing it all, almost like hedging your bets.
