What actually learning Elliott Wave in real time sounds like, mistakes and all

Pulled this from part of a screen share, kept the actual back and forth instead of cleaning it up into something that sounds like it was easy, because it wasnt, and thats the point.

He had the right instinct and the wrong process. Kept drawing what he wanted to see instead of counting what was actually there, classic mistake, everyone does it including me early on. He'd zoom out, eyeball a shape, call it a five, and when asked to actually count the sub-waves inside it hed freeze or start cherry-picking the swing that made his story work.

The fix isnt complicated, its just uncomfortable. Count the waves. Not the vibe of the wave, the actual internal structure, is there five inside wave one, five inside wave three, five inside wave five. No trick to it, no shortcut, just doing the actual work instead of trusting what you already decided you saw.

Same thing happened with swing highs, he kept marking a swing high thats not actually the swing high because it felt more convenient for the count he wanted. Doesnt matter if the real high is a tiny doji wick, a swing is a swing, the market doesnt care what shape is easier for your narrative.

The part I want people to sit with though is this, waves within waves within waves, forever, zoom into any five wave and theres another five wave sequence inside it. Thats not a gotcha or a flex, thats literally why Elliott Wave gets dismissed by people who never actually learned it properly, they draw one subjective count, it doesnt play out exactly, and they decide the whole method is fake instead of asking if they even did it right. Same thing happens with fibs, with any TA really, ask 10 people to draw the same wave count and youll get 10 different answers, that doesnt mean the concept is wrong, it means most people never got taught to do it with actual rigor.

If you're learning this stuff, the biggest unlock isnt a new indicator or a better fib tool, its just forcing yourself to zoom to 70% screen width and actually learn to count instead of assuming the story you drew on a higher timeframe is automatically the truth. Disprove it or prove it every single time.

Hope this helps, & anyone who wants the rest of the video just lmk.
